Pre-entry is preferred although entry on the day is available and the entry forms and timetable are downloadable here. 

The event will commence at 12 noon and al members are encouraged to enter.  Parent helpers on the day will be made very welcome by committee members. 

Eligibility for the championships is by permanent residence in Dumfries & Galloway or membership of a Dumfries & Galloway based club. The championship is hosted by the D & G Local Athletics Partnership.  Medals in each event will be awarded to the first three athletes. 
In addition medals for the first three in each event as part of the open meeting will be awarded by Nithsdale AC.

Performances at this meeting will help Partnership members pick a team to represent Dumfries & Galloway at the Inter-Regional Challenge in Carlisle on 12th September where the team will compete against Cumbria, Northumbria, Tynedale, Tees-side and Scottish Borders.  The age groups to be represented wil be Under 15 and Under 17, with guest spots availabe for selected athletes at Under 20.
