We are a small athletic club based in Dumfries drawing athletes from all areas of Dumfriesshire
 
Competition is provided for ages 9 upwards in track & field and cross country disciplines 

Training is delivered by qualified coaches in a safe environment

NIthsdale AC is working towards Dumfries & Galloway Council Sports Club Accreditation 
 

David Keswick CentreWe currently train only in Dumfries at the
 David Keswick Athletic Centre in Dumfries.
 
Sessions are Monday: ages 8 to 11 and Tuesday/Thursday: ages 12 upwards

First League competition is at Kilmarnock, Sunday 3rd May. We join with Annan and Stewartry to make up Team DG. Nithsdale athletes selected for the team are Max Boyd, Billy Carlyle, Robert Ponton, Lewis Crombie, Callum Kerr, Michael Cairns, Jan Keeley, Jack Carlyle, Emily Butcher, Louise Ravenscroft, Mhairi Watret, Erin Dobie, Erin O'Neill, Katie Reville, Molly Carruthers, Sophie Kibble, Abigail Fyall, Zara Weir.
Bus pick ups Georgetown library 9.20, Bus stop opposite Bannatynes 9.30, Closeburn shop 9.45, Thornhill Cross 9.50.
Open meeting David Keswick Centre starts 12 noon. Arrive i plenty of time to collect numbers. Parent helpers are needed to help the competition along.
Club memberships are now due for 2015. All athletes who are using the club for training, are excpected to be paid members. Latest form can be downloaded here.
