We are a small athletic club based in Dumfries drawing athletes from all areas of Dumfriesshire
 
Competition is provided for ages 9 upwards in track & field and cross country disciplines 

Training is delivered by qualified coaches in a safe environment

NIthsdale AC is working towards Dumfries & Galloway Council Sports Club Accreditation 
 

David Keswick CentreWe currently train only in Dumfries at the
 David Keswick Athletic Centre in Dumfries.
 
Sessions are Monday: ages 8 to 11 and Tuesday/Thursday: ages 12 upwards

Final league competition of the year is the Central & South Scotland League is on Sundy 31st August at Wishaw. First event is 11.30am. Bus pick ups are: Georgetown Library 8.50am, Spar Whitesands  8.55am, Lochthorn Car Sales/Library  9.00am, Beattock 9.20am.

With the club experiencing an upsurge in interest, especially on the back of  the 2012 Olympics and looking forward to Commonwealth Games, coaching resources are coming under pressure. We would be happy to hear from anyone who would be willing to assist. Previous experience not necessary. Ask at any of the training sessions - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at David Keswick Centre 6-7.30pm

We now have a waiting list for younger athletes on a Monday - apply to admin@nithsdaleac.org.uk. 

However there are still places available for athletes aged 12 or over to join in with Tuesay and Thursday sessions
