We are a small athletic club run by volunteer committee of parents, based in Dumfries drawing athletes from all areas of Dumfriesshire
 
Competition is provided for ages 9 upwards in track & field and cross country disciplines 

Training is delivered by qualified coaches in a safe environment

NIthsdale AC is working towards Dumfries & Galloway Council Sports Club Accreditation 
 
David Keswick CentreWe currently train only in Dumfries at the
 David Keswick Athletic Centre in Dumfries.
 
Sessions are Thursday: ages 8 to 11 (Primary School) and Tuesday/Thursday: ages 12 upwards (Secondary)
Nithsdale AC has a comprehensive welfare and safeguarding policy with a number of protocols in place

In accordance with GDPR, only minimal personal information of current club members is held by the club. This information is not shared with any outside body

Training during the summer takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday only 6 - 7.30pm at the Keswick Centre. 
Primary age children train on Thursday 6-7pm during school terms. We currently have waiting lists -
